enter follow Karen McCarroll is the President/CEO of University Title Company. She is a native of the Bryan/College Station area. She attended Texas A&M University and became a licensed realtor in 1976. Karen has remained in the real estate industry since that time. Her expertise in real estate was expanded when she served as a real estate legal assistant. She joined University Title Company in 1983 as an escrow officer and became manager of the closing department in 1985. Karen has completed both phases of the Land Title School of Texas, the Texas Land Title Institute and numerous industry seminars. She has served on the Texas Land Title Public Relations Committee; The Land Title School of Texas Committee; and The Texas Land Title Membership Committee. She is a deserving winner of the 2008 TLTA Professional Excellence Award. Karen has served on the Board of Directors for Crime Stoppers, United Way of the Brazos Valley, and the Bryan College Station Better Business Bureau. In addition, she has served as a patient volunteer for Hospice Brazos Valley. She is married to Chuck McCarroll and they have four children and ten grandchildren.

She is actively involved in charitable, community and industry organizations both locally and statewide. Over the years she has received numerous awards from state and local organizations. Celia was honored as the BCS Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 2004, an Outstanding Alumni of Texas A&M University’s College of Education and Human Development in 2009, with the Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity Bubba Moore Lifetime Achievement Award, and as the 2012 Texas Land Title Association Title Person of the Year. Previously, she served as Chairman of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of The Real Estate Research Center Advisory Board and as Chairman of the Research Valley Partnership Board. She currently serves as a board member and officer of the Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity, Secretary of Research Valley Innovation Center, Inc. and board member emeritus of the Texas A&M University Private Enterprise Research Center.
